I think you make perfect sense, but unfortunately the majority of Americans do not. For over 200 years the two parties have been in control and neither one has done anything of real significance for the people. Yet they manage to give themselves raises and cater to corporate lobbyists.

You would think people would recognize and remember. But they don’t. The majority still don’t even understand that only 528 people in America have votes that count. And only 216 of them are needed to win. 216 electoral votes can over ride all the citizens votes. And it’s happened 5 times. All 5 were Republican presidents.
