I'm still in awe that so many people have no clue how voting really works in this country. The American people do not have votes that count. It isn't a theory or opinion, it's fact. Voting is the simplest act on Earth.
Having an electoral college is called tampering. It doesn't matter how many people each state has, because they're all in the United States. The person with the most votes wins. Voting isn't a fractional math problem, it's voting. And only 538 people have votes that count. Only 217 are needed to win.
Five presidents who have lost the popular vote (peoples vote) still won the election. All were republicans.
John Quincy Adams, Benjamin Harrison, Rutherford B. Hayes, George Bush Jr. and Donald Trump all prove that the American peoples votes aren't real. They don't count. If the electoral college can override the people, then democracy is merely an illusion.
